I started T.J. Bookkeeping Solutions to bring reliable, personal bookkeeping to small businesses in the Buena Vista and Rockbridge County area — the kind of service where you're not just a line item to a big firm.

My background is in accounting and technology. I've spent 3 years working hands-on in QuickBooks Online, handling everything from day-to-day transaction categorization to full reconciliations and month-end close for small businesses across a range of industries. I'm also finishing a degree in Computer Science with a math minor, which shapes how I approach bookkeeping: methodically, with an eye for building clean, consistent systems rather than just plugging numbers into software.

That combination — solid accounting fundamentals plus a technical mindset — means I don't just record what happened in your business. I help you build a bookkeeping system that actually makes sense, so your numbers are something you can trust and use, not just something you file away.

When I'm not working in QuickBooks, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife and kid or playing any and all sports possible.
